I’ve been a full-time freelance logo designer now for 5 years and in that time I’ve met some amazing people and developed skills going beyond what I originally set out to do, it’s been a really great time for me.
As time has passed though I’ve found myself yearning for more. Over the last 12 months or so I’ve been working closely with a few other freelancers from different fields, ranging from photography to copywriting. We’ve worked together on projects I’ve not had the capability to undertake on my own, either because I didn’t have the skillset, or because it was simply too large of a project to undertake solo.
Due to the success we’ve had working together on these few projects I thought it was about time I took the first step away from freelancing and into the design agency market. I have now set up my new company: Foundation Design Agency.
Foundation will operate under the same aims and ethos that I have done as a freelance logo designer, in that we will always provide a close working relationship and take the time to get to know our clients, and their business. The only real difference is that we can offer a lot more than I previously could on my own.
The Foundation team has skills covering logo design and branding, website design and development, corporate photography, advertising and marketing, campaign strategy and copywriting. We’re confident that we can help businesses of all sizes and industries achieve their goals.
This isn’t to say that I’m abandoning my life as a freelance logo designer. I will still be operating ‘The Logo Mark’ for smaller scale projects that do not require the services of the Foundation team so if you’re in the market for a stand-alone logo design, or simple brand identity package then I’m more than happy to offer my services.
