As an independent copy writing service, Final Copy required a logo design and brand identity when launching. Other than keeping the logo design simple, and preferably typographic, we had a fully open brief to create something memorable and meaningful.
Typographic logos can often be generic and quite forgettable. To avoid this we incorporated a paragraph symbol into the wordmark, to create a unique and memorable logo, relating back to the services Final Copy offer.
Green was chosen to represent Final Copy due to its connotations with progress and being correct. This ties in perfectly with the main aim of a copy writing service, to improve written content and push it to the next level.
To add a more dynamic appearance to the brand identity we created a repeating background pattern. This consists of four punctuation and copy writing symbols, re-emphasising the services provided.
