It’s often difficult to get a website design that’s unique and interesting, whilst also conforming to the ‘norms’ of the web.
I chose to use a standard kind of layout for UtilityLincs so that it seems familiar to users, and so they would have no issues locating information and navigating through the pages. However, by making the layout slightly asymmetric, with the body of the website aligned right, the new website design feels that bit more unique and special.
The brand colours were used to identify the individual services of the company and a brand gradient was used on call to actions and headers to catch the users eye and reinforce the new UtilityLincs brand and logo design.
Built on WordPress the website is fully responsive and looks great across all devices and is also incredibly easy for the owner to update themselves.
